My little Irishmen

I try and capture images of my boys for every Holiday until they out grow the camera and tell me, "No Mom I don't want to do that",  lol. Those days will come so I take advantage of every opportunity for a memory that myself, family & boys will have so when they are grown they can share with their families.

The images I took of Luke were fun but it was cold so we didn't stay outside too long. He didn't mind it though but he certainly didn't want to look at the camera haha. He was too busy trying to get into things and focusing what was on the ground and around him. He is my little adventurous one. We had fun though & I love the serious faces he gives!

River & Luke and I went for a fun drive around the country and found an old barn. This particular one didn't have any signs that said "NO TRESPASSING" so I felt safe going in and taking a few images. Many places have post up and I don't feel comfortable taking any images without at least knocking on the door and asking permission. Back in the day I would have risk that but not now haha. "the good ol 20's" When taking risk was a little bit more exciting. <3

So here are a few shots that I got of the boys on two separate days. The fun part of doing images with my kids is that we always explore and my kids get the opportunity to go to such fun locations and learn. It's a really fun boding experience that I will miss when they get too cool for me. :) Dirt roads, old house, I will tell stories in the car and River gets so into it. LOL

Enjoy

Sassy Miss Charlie & Her Momma Heather Haase

This session was somewhat rushed but you wouldn't know by some of the fun shots we created. Heather & Charlie came to our home & I created a little space in our bedroom where the light flows soft and natural. She was due for nap so we did use a little bribery. I have a gumball machine downstairs that every kid loves and I promised her a "Green" gumball when we were finished "gween" being her favorite color. lol

I made her head piece out of an old orange necklace that I had laying around. I just spray painted it and then used an old earring for the center stone. It was a bit big on her so we had to clip it in her hair. I wanted to give her that messy look on purpose so I just curled, teased, sprayed it to look a little funky. I think we accomplished that part lol. (yes I will touch up hair and make-up if I have the time) We tried to use an old dress of mine and I was pinning it to fit her but it just wasn't working on her time clock and I didn't want to pressure her to stand there forever so you move on and go with the flow and make it work. That's how it goes in this business. You make something else work and so we did.
She has the cutest personality very cooperative but very much just a 3 yr old girl who wanted to play with My kids so I would take a few let them play and they take some of her Momma. We just kinda switched on and off and in between all of it we got some sweet shots. I love her TUDE DUDE!

CJ My 15 year old

Happy Monday everyone!~

Wanted to share a few images I took over the weekend of my Son CJ. I was surprisingly pretty ill during but pulled it together since he had a Winter dance later that evening and I couldn't, wouldn't miss that. We were a little early so I thought we'd practice driving & then hit some neat locations to take a few images. It's not often that I get to take these images anymore. The teenage years have been interesting to say the least. River my middle Son was with us so I was able to grab a shot of them two playing on top of this hill. I stood on the top of my suv and started snapping away and luckily got a shot that melts my heart. I think we got a good mix of guy stuff just for him & a little Momma stuff . Enjoy! ox
